Written during the original Speak Now sessions and produced with Aaron Dessner for the vault release, 'Electric Touch' features Fall Out Boy — one of the bands that most influenced Taylor's songwriting during the Speak Now era. Taylor chose collaborators for the vault tracks who had shaped her musical identity at the time, and Fall Out Boy's pop-punk energy was a natural fit for a song about the anxious thrill of new romance.
